Tom Dawson, Headmaster, French Educated at Sunningdale, then Eton. Studied Modern European Languages at Edinburgh and then completed his PGCE at Bristol University. He taught French and Spanish at Harrow where he also coached Yearlings cricket and ran the Fives, leading a pair to success in the Public Schools National fives tournament. Joined the staff at Sunningdale in 2002 and took over as Headmaster in 2005.

William Brooks, Deputy Headmaster, Maths & English Educated at Glenalmond College, followed by Durham University where he read English Literature and Ancient History. Will completed his PGCE at Buckingham and is presently studying for an MBA in Education, at the University of Keele. He was Deputy Headmaster of Bruern Abbey School, where he taught for six years before coming to Sunningdale in September 2006. He teaches English and Mathematics and is married with three young children.

Amy Dawson, Art & Junior Religious Studies Educated at Sunningdale and then St. George’s, Ascot. She studied art in Florence and soon after became an apprentice to muralist Michael Dillon, before undertaking commissions independently. Amy taught art in London at Trevor Roberts School and moved to Sunningdale in 2000. As well as teaching Amy exhibits her own paintings.

Elisabeth Dawson, French Elisabeth is half French, half Spanish. She was educated in St Jean de Luz in France and studied English Language and Literature at Bordeaux University. She completed her PGCE at Bristol University where she met Tom. She taught French and Spanish at Badminton School in Bristol and at North London Collegiate School. She was Head of Modern Languages at St George’s School, Ascot before she had her children. She started teaching at Sunningdale in September 2009.

Guy Smith-Bingham, Mathematics
Educated at Ludgrove, where he took scholarship examinations to get into Eton. He progressed to Bristol University before embarking on a career in the city. Sports are a key part of his life, demonstrated by sitting on the Board of Queen's club and chairing the committee which runs the sport of Rackets. He started teaching at Sunningdale in 2010, and now coaches the Tennis team which is enjoying a great deal of success.

Nick Gale, Director of Music Born in 1975 and educated at Belmont Abbey School before winning an organ scholarship to the University of Oxford. After a number of years as Director of Chapel Music at Ratcliffe College he was appointed Director of Music at St George’s Cathedral, Southwark, and Head of Academic Music at the London Oratory School. Nick is a recognized authority on Gregorian Chant and spends much of his time teaching master classes across the UK and abroad. He has worked with a number of choirs and scholas, including St George’s Cathedral Choir, of which he is Director, and the London Oratory Schola, of which he was until recently assistant director. He has broadcast on BBC Radio 4 and BBC 1 television.

Ben Howroyd, History & Religious Studies Educated at Harrow and then Newcastle University. Ben has recently completed his PGCE at Buckingham. He teaches History and Religious Studies and also coaches the 1st XV, having represented his school and University at that level.

Benedict Clibborn, Classics
Educated at Downside and University College London. He has taught Classics at a number of schools both in Britain, and at international schools in Eastern Europe and Africa. He divides his time between Sunningdale and Belgrade.

Harry Pakenham, Head of English Educated at Stubbington House and then Reeds School before reading English at University Cape Town, Harry has taught English for five years at both Moreton Hall and Papplewick. He joined Sunningdale in September 2008 and is enjoying its friendly and lively atmosphere. He belongs to an enormous (Catholic) family of poets, authors and chatterboxes!

Lindy Anderson, SENCO Educated in Zambia before moving back to England to continue her education in Taunton. Read Biology at the University of London before moving on to teach A level science in several large comprehensive schools in London. Later, Lindy trained as a special needs teacher at the Dyslexia Institute in London. She has taught as a special needs teacher for twenty-one years.

Dominic Spencer, Geography Educated at St Edmund’s Canterbury where he held the position of Senior Chorister at Canterbury Cathedral. Studied Geology at Royal Holloway, University of London, before completing his PGCE at Christ Church Canterbury. Asides from Geography, his main interest is in music, and he sings around the country with several semi-professional choirs. He joined the staff at Sunningdale in 2008.

Leanne Spencer, Junior Subjects Educated at a Catholic convent school in Surrey and then at The London Oratory School. She read Music at Royal Holloway, University of London, where she was a choral scholar, before moving to Kent to complete a Graduate Teacher Programme. As well as teaching, Leanne sings professionally in and around London and has toured much of Europe with various different choirs.

Veronique Gregg, French Born in the Auvergne, she was educated at the universities of Clermont-Ferrand, Perpignan, and Toulouse. Veronique taught at Sunningdale from 1994 to 2000, when her husband became a Housemaster at Eton. She has two children. She has recently taught at St Georges's School, Windsor, and returned to Sunningdale in September 2008.

Andrew Leschallas, ICT & PE Educated at Sunningdale, then Eton. He is an avid supporter of Arsenal Football Club and likes to participate in most sports himself. He enjoys shooting and fishing during the holidays. Before joining Sunningdale in September 2008 he was employed as a mortgage broker.

Adrian Logue, Science
Educated at St Edmund's College, he read Biology at St Andrew's University before embarking on a career in sports marketing. He is now dedicated to putting the excitement back into school science. He is also a very keen sportsman and loves walking his boxer (Ruby) around the school grounds. He is married with a young son, and joined the staff at Sunningdale in June 2009.
