Boys register at Sunningdale from birth. There are usually also one or two spaces available up to a year before entry.
Sunningdale is not academically selective. We believe that it is important to have boys of different abilities and we celebrate diversity. In order for a boy's application to be successful he must be the sort of boy who will have a go and throw himself fully into school life.
Parents should visit the school as early as possible and then complete an Entry Form. There will be regular contact after this and a year before your son is due to join you will be asked to bring him to see the school. It is at this point that a firm place will be offered and you will be asked for a deposit. Providing we feel that Sunningdale is the right school for a particular boy, places are offered on a first come first served basis.
Occasionally there may be room for a pupil who does not want to board but priority is given to boarders.
