Aims & Objectives
Geography at Sunningdale aims to: - Promote positive attitudes towards, and enthusiasm for Geography throughout the school.
- Enable pupils to develop their knowledge and understanding of the world in which they live through structured enquiry and investigation.
- Develop a Global perspective in which pupils can place local, national, and international events.

Geography Field Trip
In their final year, all of the Common Entrance candidates go on a Geography field trip to the school's house in Normandy. They spend a day studying geomorphology on a shingle beach, and a day studying settlements and economic activities in a town. The evenings are spent collating information collected during the day, and preparing their Common Entrance fieldwork projects.
